The Entertainment Industry College Outreach Program is pleased to announce that its “HBCU in LA Internship Program” application is on (starting January 9, 2017) for its inaugural Summer 2017 launch!
We are looking for the best and brightest diverse student leaders for our inaugural class of cohorts to participate in this historic program. It will be open to both undergraduate and graduate students from HBCUs and other predominately minority serving institutions.
This highly competitive program is open to students of all majors with a genuine interest and passion to pursue a career in the entertainment, media and communication industry. Students accepted into the program will be immersed in an 8-week intensive internship experience working behind the scenes with major studios, networks, agencies and other industry organizations.
To get started you will need to first create a Student Sign Up account to access the student internship application:
PS: If you already have an account with us you can skip the account creation process and just use the private link that was once provided to access your account, go to the fourth tab, apply for the program and fill out the additional fields. If you no longer have that link, click here and enter a request.
Finalists will be notified by the end of April and will be asked to submit a two-minute video supporting their interest to participate in the program. Once finalists are chosen they will upload their video via YouTube, Vimeo or a publicly shared Dropbox folder. Private videos and broken links will be disqualified.
All items must be submitted in order for your application to be considered.
Application Closes: March 15, 2017 / 11:59pm PST
