Dear HBCU in LA Student Network, we are happy to share the following new opportunities:

September 2019 Post:

MAXIMUM FUN, which is a podcasting network home to the NPR show Bullseye with Jesse Thorn, Judge John Hodgman and dozens of other shows in the comedy & culture space.

Their network offers two, year-long paid fellowships each year–one in the spring, the other in the fall. They are looking for candidates that have a passion for working in the field of radio and podcasting, and that may not have the connections to break into the field. Fellows will learn the skills necessary to progress in the field–editing, producing, booking, engineering audio sessions and more.

They are committed to finding talent from diverse backgrounds, including individuals who are looking to make a career change.

This opportunity is a paid position and not an internship, so they are looking for people out of college. That said, if you are a current student this is a program you should consider applying for in the future if looking to make a move to Los Angeles.

Here is a link to the position on their website, with instructions on how to apply: https://maximumfun.org/2019/09/05/maximum-fun-production-fellow-fall-2019-2020

SKYDANCE – They have internships in Development, Marketing, Production Finance, Animation Development, Animation Production, Game Marketing.
